Ultra Realty Estates

Property buying cost calculator for Delhi

The property buying cost calculator adds stamp duty, registration charges and brokerage to a purchase price. On a Rs 10 Cr purchase, for example, it totals the three charges at the rates you enter or the notified rates shown. Rates are set by the Delhi government, so confirm them against the current notification before you rely on a result.

Rates: Revenue Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, property registration charges, checked 2026-10-30. Duty and fee are charged on the higher of the price and the circle-rate value, and registration adds a Rs 100 pasting charge, which is not included above. Confirm every rate with the sub-registrar before you rely on the result.

How does it work?

The calculator multiplies the purchase price by each percentage and adds the results to the price. Stamp duty = price × stamp duty rate. Registration = price × registration rate. Brokerage = price × brokerage rate. Total cost = price + stamp duty + registration + brokerage.

Stamp duty and registration rates are read from a configuration file that cites the Delhi Revenue Department page they come from and the date they were checked. The Revenue Department charges both on the higher of the price and the circle-rate value, and registration carries a Rs 100 pasting charge. Where a rate is not confirmed, the field is left empty for you to fill in.

The result is an estimate for planning. Your lawyer and the sub-registrar confirm the exact charges at registration.

Frequently asked questions

How does the property buying cost calculator work?

You enter the purchase price and the rates that apply, and it adds stamp duty, registration and brokerage to the price. Each charge is the price multiplied by its percentage rate. The result shows each line and the total, so you can see exactly where the money goes.

Where do the stamp duty rates come from?

They come from the Delhi Revenue Department's property registration page, which this calculator cites with the date it was checked: stamp duty of 6% for a male buyer and 4% for a female buyer, and registration of 1%. Rates can change, so confirm them at registration.

Is the result exact?

It is an estimate for planning. Exact charges are fixed at registration, and rates can change. Use the calculator to compare properties and budget a purchase, and ask your lawyer or Raghav to confirm the figures for your own deal.

Does the calculator include Ultra's fee?

It includes a brokerage line that you can set to the fee you and Ultra have agreed. Raghav states his fee in writing before work starts, so enter that figure to see your total cost, or leave it at zero to see the government charges alone.
